Indian Executive Chef in Jeddah
We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Jeddah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items that reflect the Indian cuisine and cater to the preferences of our customers
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Order and maintain inventory of food supplies while adhering to budgetary constraints
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in working order
- Oversee food plating and presentation to maintain high aesthetic standards
- Monitor food portion sizes to control costs and minimize waste
- Enforce strict sanitation standards in the kitchen to ensure a safe and clean work environment for all staff members
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable establishment
- Ability to create unique dishes while also managing inventory costs effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team of kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of biometric passport requirements for international travel (preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (accommodation provided)
