Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia)
We are searching for an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine to lead our culinary team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase authentic Indian cuisine while also catering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and procedures are followed
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and are presented attractively
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Stay updated on industry trends and new ingredients to continually innovate the menu
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting, specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1200 per month. Benefits include health insurance, visa sponsorship, annual leave, and end-of-service benefits.
