Concierge - Svalbard



As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance to guests of our luxury hotel in Svalbard. Your main goal will be to ensure that all guests have a memorable and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, events, or activities
- Arrange transportation for guests as needed
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of current hotel promotions, packages, and discounts
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Keep the lobby area clean and presentable at all times
- Assist with luggage handling as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month. As a concierge, you may be required to work weekends, evenings, or holidays depending on the needs of the hotel. You will be working in an indoor setting primarily in the lobby area.
