Land Surveyor

As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and preparing accurate maps and reports for construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that all measurements are precise and meet project requirements. Your duties will also include analyzing survey data, identifying potential issues or obstacles, and providing recommendations for solutions. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to use sophisticated surveying equipment. You must also have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to land use and construction in Nizwa. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various methods including GPS, total stations, and levels
- Prepare detailed maps, reports, and drawings based on survey data
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy of survey measurements
- Identify any potential conflicts or issues with proposed construction plans
- Provide recommendations for resolving any discrepancies or obstacles
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to land use and construction
- Maintain accurate records of all survey data
- Use sophisticated surveying equipment effectively
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding survey findings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor in Nizwa or similar location
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles, methods, and equipment
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to land use and construction in Nizwa
- Ability to analyze data accurately and identify potential issues or conflicts
- Proficiency in using sophisticated surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, levels etc.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
