Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring for the position of Instrument Technician in Funchal, Portugal. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes. Your main duties will include troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with instrumentation, preferably in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and equipment according to technical specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments for accuracy
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex problems
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
