Pastry Chef - Muharraq, Bahrain
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries for our bakery in Muharraq. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a creative eye for detail to ensure that all products are visually appealing and delicious.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, piping, and garnishing
- Create new recipes and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients
- Ensure all products are made with high-quality ingredients and in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
- Train junior pastry chefs on baking techniques and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert offerings with the main menu
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a professional kitchen setting
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent work experience
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, flavor combinations, and pastry decoration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Creativity and innovation in developing new recipes
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
