Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative pastry menus and recipes, managing a team of pastry chefs, and ensuring the highest quality of desserts and pastries are produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update pastry menus in line with current trends and customer preferences
- Create new recipes and techniques to enhance the dessert offerings
- Train and supervise a team of pastry chefs to ensure consistency and quality in all products
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and keeping costs within budget
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cross-functional menu items that complement each other
- Oversee the production of desserts for special events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for pastry chefs, providing feedback for improvement when needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation methods
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and passion for creating unique desserts that exceed customer expectations
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Salary: $900 per month
