Job Title: Indian Chef in Acre, Israel
Our restaurant in Acre, Israel is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and a strong background in preparing traditional dishes. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus that showcase the flavors and techniques of India. You will also be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus that showcase the flavors and techniques of Indian cuisine
- Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food preparation
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dishes or improve existing ones
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Indian Chef
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking methods and ingredients
- Ability to create unique dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience managing kitchen operations including inventory management, ordering supplies, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred:
- Certification or degree in culinary arts or related field
- Familiarity with Israeli cuisine
