Junior Accountant


We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in the beautiful city of Faroe Islands. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks and supporting our senior accountants. Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help prepare financial reports for management review
- Participate in month-end close procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
