Job Title: Part-Time Librarian (Faroe-Islands)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Librarian to join our library in Faroe-Islands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

As a Part-Time Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with finding materials, checking materials in and out, shelving books, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the library. You will also provide reference assistance to patrons, including helping them navigate the library's online catalog and databases.

In addition to these duties, you will also help plan and implement library events and programs, such as book clubs and children's storytime sessions. You may also be responsible for managing the library's budget and ordering new materials when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, as well as previous experience working in a library setting. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with patrons on a daily basis. Proficiency in multiple languages is also preferred.

This position offers a competitive salary of $1600 per month for part-time work. As this is a part-time position, accommodation is not provided. However, applicants must have a valid biometric passport to work in Faroe-Islands.
