Unity Game Developer


As a Unity Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive games for various platforms using the Unity game engine. You will collaborate with a team of designers, artists, and developers to bring game ideas to life. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing game features and mechanics. You should have a strong understanding of game development principles and be able to write clean, efficient code. This is a contract job with accommodation provided in the city of Horsens. This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop games using the Unity game engine
- Implement gameplay features such as player controls, AI behavior, animations, etc.
- Write clean, efficient code that is scalable and reusable
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Optimize game performance for various platforms
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing games
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Unity Game Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- Experience with 3D graphics and animation tools such as Maya or Blender
- Familiarity with mobile gaming platforms (iOS/Android)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with multiplayer game development using Unity Networking or Photon Unity Networking (PUN)
- Knowledge of shader programming in Unity
- Familiarity with AR/VR development using Unity

Location: Horsens, Denmark (accommodation provided)
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
