Game Developer (Contract) - Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality video games that will captivate and entertain our players. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a passionate team of designers, artists, and programmers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features for video games
- Write efficient and well-documented code using C++ or other programming languages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget constraints
- Implement debugging tools to identify and fix issues in the game's code
- Optimize game performance for various platforms including PC, mobile, and console
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of C++ or other programming languages commonly used in game development
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Proficient in 3D math concepts such as linear algebra and vectors
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Porto, Portugal. Relocation assistance is not provided.
