Formworker for Construction Projects in Os, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our construction team in Os, Norway. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up concrete forms according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together to create concrete forms
- Align forms for concrete walls, beams, columns, and other structures
- Insert spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain proper dimensions
- Check the forms for vertical alignment using plumb bob or spirit level
- Pour concrete into forms and spread evenly using trowel or screed
- Smooth out concrete surfaces using float or power trowel
- Remove excess concrete from surface of form after pouring is complete

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of formwork systems and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Comfortable working at heights
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
