Skilled Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Vianden is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have experience with various carpentry techniques and tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow building plans. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$. We welcome applicants from all nationalities, but prefer candidates with Indian nationality or those who speak English fluently. This job does not include accommodation but does offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials required and dimensions of structure or fixture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk or marking gauge
- Shape or cut materials using hand tools, machines or power saws
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim according to specifications
- Inspect work pieces for defects and measure completed work to verify conformance to specifications
- Repair or replace damaged parts of structures using hand tools
- Maintain clean and safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately
- Proficient in using carpentry tools (e.g. saws, chisels, drills)
- Good understanding of wood properties and other construction materials
- Excellent mathematical skills for measuring materials accurately
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
