We are hiring a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at our store in Shan, India. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries or requests
- Process cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance the cash register at the end of each shift
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with transactions promptly and professionally
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized for a smooth flow of customers
- Upsell and promote store products to customers at the checkout counter
- Monitor inventory levels of cash, coins, and other payment methods and inform management when supplies are low
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required (degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus)
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in retail or customer service setting is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle transactions accurately and quickly
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
