Junior Concierge


We are hiring a Junior Concierge to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and assisting them with any requests or inquiries they may have during their stay. This is an entry-level position and does not require previous experience, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in process
- Provide recommendations and make reservations for restaurants, activities, and transportation
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and concierge desk area
- Stay up-to-date on local events, attractions, and services to provide accurate information to guests
- Assist with guest luggage handling when necessary
- Process guest requests for room service, housekeeping, and other amenities
- Handle cash transactions for any purchases made by guests

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong customer service skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proactive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
- Basic knowledge of local area attractions, restaurants, and transportation options preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Faro, Portugal.
