Temporary Executive Chef - Alta, Canada


We are in need of a skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Alta, Canada for a temporary position. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and overall kitchen operations of our restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about cooking and looking to gain experience as an Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menu items that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high quality standards are met
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies and ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during meal times
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with front-of-house staff
- Must have or be eligible for visa sponsorship in Canada

Salary:
This is a temporary position with a salary of $1400 per week.
