Part-time Executive Chef in Alta, Norway
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Alta, Norway. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring the highest quality of food and service is delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Source and select the freshest and highest quality ingredients for all dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory levels, food costs, and kitchen expenses to maintain profitability
- Create new dishes and specials while keeping up with current food trends
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies for promoting the restaurant's culinary offerings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Must have own visa/work permit or be eligible to work legally in Norway
Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.
