Librarian

We are a library in Bayan seeking a skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting literacy and education through various programs and activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian
- Excellent knowledge of library cataloging systems and online databases
- Proficiency in English language
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid work visa

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection according to standard cataloging practices
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and education
- Manage the library's budget, including purchasing new materials
- Maintain accurate records of circulation, inventory, and patron interactions
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop policies for the library's operation
- Stay updated on current trends in literature, technology, and library services
