Experienced Glazier in Akron, Ohio

Our company is seeking an experienced Glazier to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, installing, and repairing glass and other materials used in windows, skylights, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the glazing industry and be able to work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified size and shape using power tools or hand tools
- Install glass in frames or on building exteriors, applying putty or other sealants as needed
- Replace broken or cracked glass panes on windows or doors
- Fabricate aluminum frames for storefront windows and doors
- Read and interpret blueprints or specifications for installation purposes
- Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders to complete installation tasks
- Ensure all safety standards are followed while working at heights or with heavy equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Glazier in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications accurately
- Familiarity with different types of glass and their properties
- Proficient use of power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently without supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights or lift heavy materials if necessary

Salary: $1100 per month
