Part-time Database Administrator in Lisbon, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security and integrity. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing database upgrades when necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and suggest improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather database requirements
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, upgrades, and patches
- Develop scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Hands-on experience with SQL programming language
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate with different teams

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Candidate must be willing to relocate or have valid work permit)
