Land Surveyor

A reputable land surveying firm in Atlanta is seeking a skilled and qualified Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine precise locations and measurements of land boundaries, elevations, and other features. You will work on a variety of projects including construction sites, property development, and road construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough field surveys using various equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Analyze collected data and create maps, plans, and reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results
- Review existing land records and conduct research to gather necessary information for surveys
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency with surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Experience with land development projects or road construction projects

Salary: $1000 per week (negotiable based on experience)
