Junior Merchandiser - Eldoret, Kenya



We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Merchandiser to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of product merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Merchandisers with product selection, pricing, and inventory management
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales to develop effective merchandising plans
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor sales performance and make recommendations for adjustments in inventory or pricing
- Create visually appealing displays in-store to attract customers and promote products
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and product performance
- Provide support for the development of new products by gathering feedback from customers and conducting market analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising or retail industry is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and consumer trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Passion for fashion trends and knowledge of current market trends

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This job is based in Eldoret, Kenya. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport.
