Radio Technician


A reputable radio station in Funchal is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all radio equipment, including transmitters, receivers, and other broadcasting equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for radio technology and a desire to work in the beautiful city of Funchal.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment
- Install new equipment as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment
- Monitor signal strength and quality
- Maintain proper documentation of all repairs and maintenance work
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technological developments
- Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding any technical issues

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience working with radio equipment is a plus, but not required
- Strong knowledge of electronic principles and circuitry
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency in using various testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Benefits:
