Junior Architectural Designer


We are a leading architectural firm in the beautiful and unique city of Svalbard, seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Architectural Designer to join our team. As a Junior Architectural Designer, you will work closely with our senior architects to create innovative designs and plans for various projects ranging from residential to commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts for projects
- Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Assist in site visits and provide support during construction phases
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and techniques
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Must be willing to relocate to Svalbard

Preferred:
- Previous internship or work experience in an architectural firm
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations in Svalbard

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, along with accommodation provided by the company. Additionally, we will cover the cost of your visa and travel expenses.
