Indian Executive Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Atlanta
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a fine dining restaurant in Atlanta. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design innovative Indian-inspired dishes for our menu
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed while staying within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal menus and special event menus
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the menu
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, spices, herbs, etc.
- Ability to create unique dishes while also being familiar with classic Indian dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume orders while maintaining food quality
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Understanding of health codes and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: $1400 per week with potential for growth
Location: Atlanta
