Senior Commercial Architect

As a Senior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of commercial buildings in Akron. Your primary goal will be to create functional and visually appealing spaces that meet the needs of our clients while also adhering to building codes and regulations. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans, create detailed drawings and specifications, and oversee the construction process from start to finish. Additionally, you will manage a team of junior architects and provide guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their careers. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial architecture, excellent design skills, strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques, and proficiency in relevant software programs such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. A degree in Architecture is required, along with a proven track record of successfully completing commercial projects on time and within budget. This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per week with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
