Commercial Architect


We are hiring a skilled and creative Commercial Architect to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and restaurants. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts that meet their requirements and budget. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commercial architecture, strong technical skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their project requirements and budget
- Develop design concepts that meet the client's needs and budget
- Create detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with the design plans
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals throughout the project
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction progress is on track
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience with LEED certification process
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
Akron, Ohio.

Preference:
This job is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Egyptian or Canadian candidates who are proficient in English.

Type of Employment:
This is a full-time position for experienced professionals. Part-time positions are not available at this time.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial architecture is required for this position.

Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred but not required.
