Database Administrator (Part-Time)



We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring data security and integrity, and providing technical support to our users.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize company databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles
- Provide technical support to users for database-related inquiries or issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate databases with other systems
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for all databases
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience with database design, optimization, backup, and recovery strategies
- Familiarity with data security concepts (e.g. encryption, access control)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1100 per month (part-time)
Location: United States (with accommodation available if needed)
Visa sponsorship: Own visa preferred but not required
