Junior Civil Engineer


We are hiring a Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Braga! As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will assist in the design, planning and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is an entry-level position, perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in conducting site investigations and surveys
- Create and review project drawings, plans and specifications
- Work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals involved in a project
- Monitor construction progress and provide recommendations for improvements
- Perform calculations and analysis for structural designs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Keep accurate records of project progress and expenses

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role (internships included)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to work legally in Braga without requiring accommodation

Salary:
$1600 per month

Location:
Braga, Portugal. This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to candidates currently residing or willing to relocate to Braga.
