Junior Information Security Analyst



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to proactively address potential risks
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure security measures are integrated into new systems or processes
- Provide training to employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and web application architecture
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and databases (SQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Biometric passport required for international travel

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
