PHP Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our growing team in Lisbon. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high security and scalability of our applications.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter
- Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient, testable, and reusable code using best practices
- Design and implement complex web applications based on client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and timelines
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure high performance and scalability
- Stay updated on emerging technologies within the web development industry
