Floral Designer


Our floral design company in Akron is seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, events, and everyday floral needs.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their floral preferences and needs
- Design and create unique and beautiful flower arrangements using a variety of flowers, foliage, and other materials
- Order flowers and supplies from vendors
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies to ensure availability for upcoming projects
- Prepare flowers for arrangements by cleaning, trimming, and conditioning them
- Set up and decorate event spaces with floral arrangements
- Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing payments

Requirements:
- Previous experience in floral design or related field preferred but not required
- Creativity, attention to detail, and an eye for color combinations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
