Survey Technician

A leading surveying company in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and be familiar with current industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities:
- Perform field surveys and measurements using various equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Assist in the preparation of survey plans, maps, and reports
- Conduct research and gather data from various sources to aid in the completion of surveys
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and measurements
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Communicate with clients to gather project requirements and provide updates on project progress
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on site

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Experience working as a land surveyor or survey technician
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS receivers, laser levels, and other surveying tools
- Ability to read maps, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1000 per month. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Working Conditions:
This is an on-site position that may require working in various weather conditions. The candidate must be physically fit to walk long distances while carrying equipment.
