Java Developer - Contract Position (Remote)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications for our clients. This is a remote position, so applicants from any location are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications using Java programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Java development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Java Developer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and development practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting

Salary:
This is a contract position with an hourly rate of $25-$30 USD depending on experience.

Location:
This position is open to candidates from any location. However, candidates based in Kenya or other African countries are preferred.
