Job Title: Contract Turner in Fonvieille

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team on a contract basis in Fonvieille. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathes and other machine tools to shape metal parts to precise dimensions. This role requires experience in the field and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, etc.
- Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and dexterity for operating machinery
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree from a vocational school is preferred
