Handyman for Maintenance and Repair in Mombasa, Kenya

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to repair and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular maintenance checks and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Handling minor carpentry work such as fixing doors, windows, and furniture
- Painting walls and performing touch-ups as needed
- Troubleshooting issues with appliances, equipment, and fixtures
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises at all times
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events or functions

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a handyman or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in English

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 8am to 5pm. Some flexibility may be required for occasional evening or weekend work.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month.
