Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Funchal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and objects at construction sites, ports, or other industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes
- Inspect and maintain crane equipment before and after use
- Use hand signals or radio communication to direct crane movements
- Follow safety procedures and protocols when operating cranes
- Lift and move heavy materials or objects according to instructions from supervisors or blueprints
- Ensure that materials are properly secured before lifting
- Keep detailed records of daily activities including materials lifted, time spent on tasks, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
- Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations on the job site

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Crane Operator is required
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their functions
- Familiarity with safety procedures for crane operation
- Ability to interpret blueprints and follow instructions
- Physical strength and endurance to operate equipment for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent education

Salary: $1800 per month
