IT Support Specialist



We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Faro. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients and employees. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network and server infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Conduct regular maintenance on network and server infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Create user accounts, manage permissions, and provide access to systems as needed
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and provide solutions or escalate to senior IT staff when necessary
- Keep detailed records of all technical support requests and resolutions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems (Windows/Mac) and networks (LAN/WAN)
- Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows 10), Microsoft Office Suite, and antivirus software
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Faro
