Glazier vacancy in Almada Portugal

Student Glazier

We are a glass installation company based in Almada and we are looking for a motivated and skilled student glazier to join our team. As a student glazier, you will assist our experienced glaziers in installing and repairing glass in various buildings and structures.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring and cutting glass to specified sizes
- Prepare glass for installation by smoothing edges and applying sealants
- Install glass using various techniques such as glazing putty, clips, or moldings
- Remove broken or damaged glass and replace with new pieces
- Repair or replace window frames as needed
- Clean up work area after completion of job

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a glazing program or related field
- Previous experience working with glass is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurements
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Almada (preference for Portuguese-speaking candidates)
