Job Title: Part-Time Civil Engineer in Funchal


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any potential issues or challenges
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop project plans and designs
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and other expenses related to the project
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and relevant regulations
- Identify potential risks or delays and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or questions
- Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before beginning construction work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this part-time position.
