Android Developer



As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will also be working on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge of RESTful web services to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing Android applications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

Location: Os City, Philippines

Salary: $1700 USD per month

Employment type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
