As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely delivery and safe handling. You will be driving a large commercial truck, typically with a capacity of over 26,000 pounds. This position requires long hours on the road, often spending days or weeks away from home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safe operation
- Plan routes and schedule deliveries to optimize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Report any incidents or issues encountered during transport
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver in long haul transportation
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of goods as needed

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is based in Bayan, Kenya. Preference will be given to local candidates.
