Part-Time Cashier


We are in search of a reliable and friendly Part-Time Cashier to join our team at our store in La Condamine. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers with a welcoming smile and provide exceptional customer service
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or other electronic devices
- Accept payments, issue receipts, and return change to customers
- Maintain accurate cash drawer by counting money at the beginning and end of each shift
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to assist customers with their purchases
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all company procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security measures

Requirements:

- Must have a Biometric passport (or be eligible to obtain one)
- Able to work part-time hours (20 hours per week)
- No previous experience required; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Basic math skills with attention to detail for accurate transactions
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
