Librarian (Ajman, India)


We are hiring a Librarian to join our library team in Ajman, India. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, assisting library visitors in finding resources, and keeping track of borrowed items.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in library operations is not required

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the library's collection by cataloging and classifying new materials
- Assist visitors in finding resources and provide information about library services
- Monitor borrowing records and ensure timely return of items
- Oversee the library's physical space and keep it organized and tidy
- Provide support for research projects or events held at the library
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan programs or activities for library users
