Office Assistant
We are currently seeking an Office Assistant for a contract position in Nizwa, Oman. This role is ideal for someone with no experience who is looking to gain valuable skills in an office setting. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office staff, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Keep track of employee attendance and time off requests
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Coordinate meetings and appointments
- Ensure the office is clean and organized at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Friendly demeanor with a positive attitude
Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
