Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Vianden, Luxembourg)


We are a renowned restaurant in Vianden, Luxembourg seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month. As an English speaking job, fluency in English is a must. Biometric passport is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee menu creation for Indian cuisine, ensuring variety and authenticity
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service hours
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Create new dishes and specials based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective menus while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Ability to manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Biometric passport required
