Job Title: Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef specializing in Indian Cuisine to join our team at our restaurant in Clairvaux. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, authentic Indian dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee menu development for our Indian cuisine offerings
- Manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Develop new recipes and refine existing ones to meet customer demands
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into our menu offerings
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, ingredients, and flavors
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that attract customers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and communicate with management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
and efficiency
- Biometric passport required for international travel
