Executive Chef - International Cuisine
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef to lead our international cuisine kitchen team at our prestigious restaurant in Clairvaux. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unique and flavorful dishes, while also demonstrating strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of kitchen operations.
Salary: $1500/month
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and oversee the creation of menus featuring various international cuisines
- Train, supervise and schedule kitchen staff members
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure the highest standards are met
- Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special promotions
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, including Asian, European, Middle Eastern, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Experience in menu development and cost control measures
- Valid work visa for Canada (sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
