Executive Chef
Are you a talented and experienced Executive Chef looking for a new challenge? Our upscale restaurant in Clairvaux is seeking a skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will oversee all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests. You will also be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining food and labor costs, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishes
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Previous experience working in fine dining restaurants is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are both innovative and appealing to our guests
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, plating, and presentation
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory management, food cost control, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu development and specials
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the freshest ingredients are used in our dishes
- Monitor food quality regularly to maintain high standards
